CAMILLA Announces The Robbie Williams Collaboration
Superstar Robbie Williams and Camilla Franks have teamed up on an exclusive collaboration which highlights the electric energy of the musician’s craft, blended with CAMILLA’s artistry.
Friends Robbie and Camilla designed the collaboration over 18 months during the pandemic, with most of their creative sessions taking place via Zoom.
This collaboration sees the two friends’ art-forms colliding as fashion meets rock ‘n’ roll. Palettes of recording booths and late-night venues set the stage for a world of music and mischief.
Robbie Williams says:
“Mills is a true rockstar of print: she took all the things that make me me, and turned it into a work of art.
You’ll find all these secret little hidden messages amongst the prints: my tattoos, my song lyrics, memories from my childhood, homages to my family: mum, dad, my beautiful wife Ayda and my four little angels – there’s even a shoutout to my favourite football team Port Vale. We hope this collection makes you feel like Rockstar Royalty.”
Five prints including ‘Rockstar Royalty’, ‘Kingdom of Angels’ and ‘Do I Entertain You’ speak to the 18x BRIT Award winners catalogue of songs, referencing his incredible body of work within the ornate designs. The capsule spans an extended sizing range from XXS to 4XL and contains Mens and Womenswear, as well as incredible Pinnacle Pieces such as the Long Line Reversible Robe, Long Sleeve Swing Dress and the Zip Through Bomber Jacket.
Camilla Franks says about the collaboration:
“First and foremost, my prints have to tell a story and I’m so touched Robbie trusted me with his. This became a deeply personal project for us both. We delved deep into his treasure box of memories and splashed them onto silken canvas, bringing to life the milestones of his memories. With gilded gold, red roses, tartans and disco balls – they are born to entertain.”
“You’ll also find hidden motifs that speak to Robbie’s life from birth to present day: his tattoos, lyrics, family crests, football team, and tributes to Ayda, his gorgeous wife, and their four cubs. My personal favourite is a cheeky tribute to Robbie’s infamous Tiger underpants, reworked in signature CAMILLA gold decadence. The big cat is part of our shared DNA!”
