Façon Magzine and CHIC Management are Searching For Newcastle’s Next Supermodel.

Locally produced luxury fashion magazine, Façon, in association with international modelling agency, CHIC Management are searching for the next Face of Façon.
The search for the Hunter’s next supermodel will officially open on Wednesday June 20, 2018, with the winner to be announced at a runway event at Westfield Kotara on October 6, 2018.
The winner will receive a development contract with CHIC Management, including a test shoot in Sydney and an editorial spread to feature in Façon Book Five.
With the Hunter producing some of the countries most recognisable faces, CHIC General Manager, Paul Thomas, says he is excited to bring his team to the region to uncover new talent.
“Chic is involved in leading model searches in Australia, and throughout the years many young girls have been discovered and successfully placed on the world stage. Chic’s model searches have repeatedly found talent that has been named in the top ten world-wide,” Paul says.
“Chic’s models appear in campaigns for some of the world’s leading fashion houses – Chanel, D&G, Gucci and Dior, to name a few and leading fashion publications. Chic’s models also grace the international runways each season, walking for the industry’s most acclaimed/renowned designers.
“This year we’re looking for the face to represent all the Hunter has to offer! Beauty, beachy, fun, vibrant and inclusive,” he says.
Local girl, and Face of Façon ambassador, Annalise McLachlan has just that.
She has shot editorials for international magazines and appeared in campaigns for Mink Pink, Sportsgirl, Cotton On, Forever New, Surfstitch, Bardot and Glasson’s, just to name a few.
Façon editor, Lara Lupish believes that this is an exciting opportunity for local girls who are looking to enter the modelling industry.
“The collaboration between CHIC Management and Façon is a Newcastle first and we are so proud to give regional girls national and international opportunities as their careers are nurtured by the best in the business.
