Samantha Washer has been working & traveling to Bali for 15 years, working with local artisans & building
close relationships both professionally & personally. She loves working with the Balinese because of their
kind, calm nature & talent. “I fell in love with Bali & its beautiful people the first time I visited, I was in
awe of their incredible artistic talent and of their connection with spirit & nature.”
The stunning Isla Sol collections are handmade in Bali by a family owned and run team of artisans with
over 20 years of experience in the niche market of handmade clothing and embroidery. “We are so happy
& grateful to be able to work with such a talented team of individuals to bring our dream label to life,”
Sam says.
The collections are stunning, full of dreamy, flowy & delicately hand embroidered cotton resort wear
pieces & swimwear which are ideal for summer & your next resort getaway. They can be worn from day

Isla Sol is committed to an ethical, sustainable, and mindful approach to fashion. They only use natural
fabrics in their garment production & 100% recycled lycra for their swimwear pieces. All collections are
handmade in small quantities and each piece is intended to be a “forever piece.”
As part of this commitment to slow fashion and sustainable practice and to overcome the unnecessary
excess of mass production Isla Sol is also proud to offer the Handmade To Order service. This gives our
customers the opportunity to take part in the design process of their garment, or to simply have a second
chance to buy a sold-out style.
With all the collections made on the beautiful island of Bali, Isla Sol wanted to give back to the people & the Island. “We really wanted to give back to the place that has given us so much, so we have partnered with Sungai Watch and $2.00 from every Isla Sol piece sold online will go directly to this incredible charity.” Sungai Watch is a community river cleanup organization with the mission to protect Bali’s waterways via mass river cleanups & the development of affordable and replicable trash barrier solutions to prevent plastics from entering the ocean.
