Ricki-Lee is Back With a Brand New Album and Headline Sydney Show

Former Façon Cover-star RICKI-LEE has just released her anticipated fifth studio album “On My Own” through her own label, marking 10 years since her last album – delighting loyal fans of old and new. It already sits at Number One on the iTunes Album Chart!

She is one of the hardest working artists in the entertainment industry, hosting one of the biggest prime time TV shows in the country (Australian Idol) and her #1 rating national Drive radio show (Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel) – all at the same time! Almost 20 years into a stellar career, Ricki-Lee is in her prime as proven in the standout 10 x tracks featured on the “On My Own” album.

Previews released prior include the recent Number One singles On My Own & Ghost, plus latest single I Was Made For Loving You which is currently roaring towards the Shazam Top 10 chart. On making the album Ricki-Lee shares, “the intent with every song on this album was if it’s not good enough to be a single, it’s not going on the album. That was the standard we set from the start.”

“On My Own” is a complete collaboration between herself and Sydney hitmakers DNA (7x #1 singles in Australia with artists including Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas, Delta Goodrem and Ricky Martin). Ricki-Lee explains, “I respect what they do so much, because like myself, they are unapologetically pop. There’s not a lot of writers and producers who are like that. I’ve been wanting to work with them for the longest time – so I reached out and said from the start that I wanted to write the whole album with them – and that’s what we did.”
