The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship 2025
The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship is a powerful celebration of culture, creativity, and community. At this years annual event we were joined by our incredible partner, Greater Bank, along with valued supporters: Wollotuka Institute, Indigenous Literacy Foundation, Indigenous Fashion Projects and Welcome to Country. We extend a special thank you to Dr Ross Kerridge, Lord Mayor of Newcastle, and Meryl Swanson MP, Member for Paterson, for their attendance on the day.
A heartfelt thank you to Murrook Culture Centre for hosting us and providing such a meaningful space for the event. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

The Conscious Couture Festival 2025
The Conscious Couture Festival is a celebration of conscious fashion, creativity, and community. This year, the Conscious Couture Festival lit up Newcastle with a bold fusion of fashion, sustainability, and community spirit. Held in the heart of Newcastle city on 12 April 2025, the event championed slow fashion and local creatives, transforming the city into a celebration of mindful design and collaborative energy. At our event, finalists graced the runway before the winner was revealed on the big screen at Event Cinemas in a showstopping moment. A night of glamour, community and connection, marking a new chapter for Façon Magazine.
