The Ultimate Parisian Beach Club Has Arrived

This March, Longchamp brings the spirit of the Parisian seaside to Sydney, unveiling its first-ever Australian summer takeover at Shark Beach, Nielsen Park. From March 3–12, The Nielsen Beach Club transforms into La Plage Longchamp, a vibrant, immersive destination inspired by the Maison’s playful elegance and unmistakable joie de vivre.

Open to the public, the beach club invites guests to unwind by the harbour, enjoy casual bites and refreshing drinks, and experience the Summer 2026 Catch the Parisian Wave collection. Celebrating natural materials and artisanal craftsmanship, the collection features standout pieces including the hand-crocheted Le Roseau Raffia and the surf-inspired Le Pliage Surf, capturing the effortless freedom of a Parisian summer.

A highlight of the takeover is Longchamp’s first-ever surfboard, created in collaboration with Shapers Club. With its wood-veneered finish, Sixties-inspired lines and retro fins, the ultra-limited design channels Riviera nostalgia onto Australian shores.

Throughout the takeover, guests can enjoy complimentary experiences including meditation sessions, watercolour workshops, styling moments and sunset mixology. Alive with branded installations and beachside décor, La Plage Longchamp reimagines Sydney’s summer through a distinctly Parisian lens, bold, optimistic and undeniably chic.

As the first La Plage Longchamp to arrive in Australia, this landmark activation offers more than a beach club, it presents a new way to experience the Maison. Blending fashion, craftsmanship and community, Longchamp redefines the Sydney summer through a distinctly Parisian lens: effortless, optimistic and alive with possibility.
