The Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship 2026 Event

Now in its fourth year, the Indigenous Storytellers Scholarship (TISS) continues to grow as a powerful platform for celebrating and championing emerging First Nations creatives across New South Wales.

Proudly presented by Façon Australia and supported by Greater Bank, this year's event brought together an inspiring community of finalists, mentors, industry leaders and supporters to honour the next generation of storytellers.

The scholarship has continued to expand in both reach and impact, creating meaningful opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creatives to share their voices.

The morning culminated in the announcement of 2026 scholarship recipient Jasmine Christie, whose outstanding artistic talent and storytelling captured the attention of the judging panel and marked an exciting new chapter in her creative journey.

A huge thank you to our incredible supporters for 2026: Greater Bank, The Wollotuka Institute, Reconciliation NSW, Regional Development Australia, Murrook Culture Centre, Equip Multi Media.
