Scanlan Theodore Explores Elemental Freedom in Spring/Summer ’26

Scanlan Theodore unveils its Spring/Summer ’26 collection, a study in the beauty of the Australian landscape and the relationship between movement, form and craftsmanship.

Inspired by the elemental freedom of land and sky, the collection reflects the House’s signature approach to modern tailoring through sculptural silhouettes, considered fabrication and a palette drawn from nature. Referencing the poetry of Dorothea Mackellar’s My Country, Spring/Summer ’26 finds harmony between strength and softness, where architectural precision meets fluid, effortless movement.

Silk organza, linen, refined crepe knit and technical taffeta shape the collection’s elevated wardrobe, while earthy tones transition into luminous whites and Scanlan Theodore’s signature shade, opal, accented by rich jewel tones inspired by Australia’s native landscape.

Nature remains at the heart of the collection, with insect, floral and fauna motifs appearing across ready-to-wear, jewellery and accessories. Delicate lace, botanical details and the House’s iconic poppy motif are joined by one of the season’s defining signatures: feathers. Featured across garments, handbags, footwear and chokers, the feather detailing introduces texture, movement and lightness while maintaining the brand’s refined restraint.

The season also welcomes the arrival of the Vanita, a new compact handbag crafted in Italian leather. Designed with considered hardware and an integrated mirror, the silhouette combines functionality with the timeless craftsmanship that has become synonymous with Scanlan Theodore.

Adding another milestone to the House’s evolution, Spring/Summer ’26 introduces Scanlan Theodore Bridal, a debut capsule celebrating modern elegance through sculptural design, hand-finished detailing and elevated fabrication. Featuring boned corsetry, refined silhouettes and feathered accessories, the collection presents a contemporary vision of bridal dressing.

Grounded in the Australian landscape yet designed for modern life, Spring/Summer ’26 captures Scanlan Theodore’s enduring philosophy: thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship and a quiet confidence that transcends seasons.

The collection is available now in-store and online at Scanlan Theodore.
