Prada Beauty is giving purple a new perspective with the launch of its Wisteria Makeup Collection, an avant-garde edit inspired by one of the Italian fashion house’s most iconic hues.
Since launching in 2023, Prada Beauty has challenged traditional beauty codes through a free-thinking approach to colour, texture and self-expression. Drawing on the brand’s fashion archives, the new collection brings this same creative spirit to makeup, exploring tonal purples through three distinctive products designed to make a statement without feeling overdone.
A new take on the iconic Prada Balm
Leading the collection is the Prada Balm in Wisteria Gleams, a lilac pastel bullet infused with cool wisteria shimmer. Designed to transform on application, its pH-adaptive Micro-Blushing Technology™ responds to the lips’ natural pH to create a personalised rosy tint with a luminous, iridescent finish.
Formulated with bifidus extract and jojoba oil, the balm delivers up to 24 hours of hydration while helping to soften and protect the lips. Its subtle lilac fragrance, combining lilac geranium with sparkling mandarin, adds another sensory detail to the experience.
Staying true to Prada Beauty’s approach to considered luxury, the balm is also refillable, with the refill format designed to reduce packaging waste.
A flush of purple with Prada Touch
The collection also introduces two limited-edition shades of Prada Touch, the brand’s cream-to-powder blush. Wisteria arrives as a pale lilac, while Violet offers a deeper plum tone, bringing two different interpretations of purple to the complexion.
Infused with raspberry extract, the blush leaves skin feeling moisturised, with colour designed to stay true for up to 12 hours.
Finishing with a touch of Glycine
Completing the collection is the Pradalines Durable Gliding Eye Pencil in Glycine, a lilac shade that brings the purple colour story to the eyes. Offering a more understated way to experiment with colour, the pencil adds a subtle point of difference while staying true to the collection’s balance of modernity and eccentricity.
