Tommy Hilfiger Checks Into The Plaza for Fall 2026
Tommy Hilfiger is heading home for Fall 2026, returning to one of New York’s most iconic addresses with Travis Kelce, Gigi Hadid, JISOO and a seriously star-studded guest list in tow.
For its latest campaign, “Only in New York,” Tommy Hilfiger takes over The Plaza Hotel, a place with particular significance for the designer, who called the legendary hotel home for more than a decade. This season, Travis Kelce steps into Tommy’s world as guest in residence, bringing together sport, fashion, music and culture in a campaign that could only happen in Manhattan.
Kelce is joined by Gigi Hadid, JISOO, Peggy Gou, Frances Tiafoe and Carmelo Anthony, alongside Tommy and Dee Hilfiger. Together, the cast represents the collision of personalities and creative worlds that has long defined New York and The Plaza itself, which has welcomed everyone from Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
Naturally, there are clothes worth checking in for too.
Fall 2026 continues Hilfiger’s “Prep Made Current” vision, taking familiar American classics and giving them a richer, more contemporary finish. The cable-knit sweater emerges as a hero of the season, appearing alongside elevated rugby shirts, varsity jackets and an extensive outerwear offering spanning wool pea coats, car coats and softly padded layers. The brand’s unmistakable red, white and blue also returns, reworked through deeper seasonal tones and archival detailing.
The result is classic Tommy with a distinctly New York attitude: polished but playful, nostalgic without feeling stuck in the past.
After opening the doors to his Palm Beach world for Spring 2026, Hilfiger’s return to The Plaza feels like the perfect next chapter, a celebration of the city, the people and the effortless prep that have shaped the brand for decades.
Q&A With Tommy Hilfiger
-
“Returning to The Plaza Hotel feels like a true homecoming. It’s one of New York’s most iconic landmarks, and for more than a decade it was also my home. Dee, our kids and I lived in an incredible penthouse overlooking Central Park, and some of my favorite memories are from that chapter of our lives — hosting friends, celebrating milestones and bringing together people from different worlds under one roof. While it holds many wonderful memories for me, what excites me most about this campaign is the opportunity to recreate the spirit of culture coming together, and introduce a new generation to the optimism and energy that make New York so inspiring.”

“I've always loved sharing the places that have inspired me, and The Plaza is certainly one of them. What was fun about this campaign was watching Travis make the experience completely his own. He brings incredible confidence, warmth and charisma, and seeing him experience New York through his own perspective brought fresh energy to the story.”

“The Plaza is one of those places that represents the very best of New York. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly feel the history. Generations of cultural icons have passed through its halls from Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. If those walls could talk! This year, the campaign is about bringing F.A.M.E.S — fashion, art, music, entertainment and sport — to life. In many ways, it felt like a modern continuation of The Plaza's story, bringing together a new generation of cultural voices under one roof and capturing the energy of New York today.”

Travis represents a new generation of American icons. He has this amazing cross-generational appeal that attracts people of all ages – from the kids who see him as an icon on the field, to older generations who find him relatable and charismatic. People connect with him because he feels real. That confidence, optimism and authenticity reflect everything we’ve always stood for as a brand.

“Fall has always been my favorite season to dress for. There’s a richness that comes with layering pieces together and building a wardrobe around comfort, warmth and versatility. This collection takes some of our most recognizable icons — the cable knit sweater, the rugby, the varsity jacket and classic outerwear — and gives them a fresh perspective. It’s rooted in American prep but designed for the way people dress today.”
“The Varsity Jacket is always a standout. It’s a New York classic – a true heritage piece that perfectly captures the spirit of “Prep Made Current”. This season we’ve refined the silhouette and introduced new color combinations that make it feel fresh while staying true to its heritage. I also love the cable knit jumpers and rugbies Travis wears so well. The colorways are bold and warm, reflecting the spirit of the season.”
The Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2026 collection is available throughout the season online, in Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide and through select retailers.
