Sydney Does Denim with Calvin Klein

Good denim rarely needs much explaining, and Calvin Klein has spent decades proving the point.

The brand brought together a very well-dressed cross-section of Australia’s creative set for an intimate dinner celebrating its denim icons and new-season arrivals. The evening was less traditional launch, more dinner with friends, albeit friends dressed head-to-toe in Calvin Klein.

And naturally, denim did much of the talking.

There’s something enduring about Calvin Klein denim: uncomplicated, a little sexy and designed to become entirely your own. That idea of personal style was at the heart of the evening, with each guest interpreting the collection differently rather than adhering to a prescribed head-to-toe look.

Around the table were actor Bryn Chapman Parish, creators Albert Cho and Emma Kate Boyd, fashion tastemakers Bridget Gao and Josh Obliga, creative Carla Martinez, and KULT models Lily Hoffman, Kwesi, Olympia Christou and Alida Aciu.

The result? A rather convincing case for pulling your favourite denim back out of the wardrobe.
